Thumbnail Sketches Objective: You will define and create thumbnail sketches in order to brainstorm ideas for your animal mandala. What are some things that people create that they might start with a series of thumbnail sketches? Movies Inventions Comics Cars- anything manufacturedlabels, too. Books Why would you do more than one? On each thumbnail sketch: Practice drawing animals and natural objects from a picture. Use shapes to help. Create a minimum of 2 sketches: 1.Minimum of 2 animals and/ or flowers. 2.5 spaces for shading/ value 3.Minimum of 3 spaces for collage. 4.Minimum of 10 spaces. 5.Other designs or images of your choice.
