Was it that they had served Him faithfully? Was it that they had been true to Him? Was it that they loved Him?They knew that none of these things, although true, would ever be adequate!No, the basis was solely that Jesus loved them!

We get peace of mind when we seek God’s will in our prayers for others.

Comfort in our prayers is not that Jesus answers them as we wish.

Instead, comfort is found in that the one who made us and loves us, knows what is best for us, and directs that to His glory!
