The locality has excellent cycle paths and walking trails, in addition to outstanding horse riding offering numerous bridleways. It is close to the market town of Warminster which provides all shopping needs and leisure facilities including library, sports centre, doctor’s and dentist’s surgeries. In Crockerton there is a primary school, a cafe beside the lake and the benefits of an active village community.
