Duration for developing a MOOC and SPOC: Between 6-9 months. As for time investment, we calculate 9 weeks (45 days spread over 6-9 months) for the lead academic for a MOOC and 35 days for a SPOC. Although experiences show this can differ depending amongst others on the amount of material you already have ready, and or copyrights for animations free at your disposal.
