Thomas C. Jensen, CCIM, FLMI Managing Director, Commercial Mortgages and Real Estate Tom Jensen is the Managing Director for MEMBERS Capital Advisors, Inc. (MCA). In this role, Tom is responsible for the Commercial Mortgage and Real Estate portfolios for the General Account. Tom has more than 32 years of experience in the insurance investment business. Prior to joining MCA, he served as a senior portfolio manager at Allstate Investments, LLC, where he directed the Commercial Mortgage division for six years, growing the portfolio from $3.4 billion to more than $8 billion. He oversaw the Asset Managmement and Servicing groups as well. Prior to working for Allstate Investments, Tom originated credit tenant lease transactions and commercial mortgage loans for Principal Financial Group. Tom earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1993 and the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation in 1985. Tom is a member of the Commercial Board of Governors for the Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a past Chairman of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officers Council; LifeComps, a commercial mortgage loan index association; and the Portfolio Investors Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Assocation.
