And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Thomas “Tom” Cooper, 89, of Nederland, died Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born on October 19, 1928, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, to Aleda Meineke Cooper and Merle Levy Cooper.
Tom was excellent at woodwork, custom cabinets, and furniture. He enjoyed drag racing, and occasionally did a little oil painting.
Survivors include his son, Rendall G. Cooper and his wife, Judy, of Nederland; daughter, Marlinda Odom and her husband, Dale, of Silsbee; daughter-in-law, Ginger Cooper; grandchildren, Tara Johnson and her husband,
Travis; Brandi Cooper and her fiancé, Brett Mitchell; Jeremy Cooper and his wife, Megan; and Leah Vara and her husband, Manny; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert “Bob” Cooper and his wife, Jane; Don Cooper and his wife, Milly; and James “G” Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille Cooper; and son, Dale Cooper.
