As Summer comes to an end, so does

Youth Summer Programming. Reel-to-Real will run up unto August 6th, Super Sonic Tuesdays will conclude on August 8, then Youth Programing will take a Summer Break to Reboot for Fall Kick-off August 20th.

Dale Amend will present his experiences in real

Family Promise will be having its first annual

“A Night of Promise” on November 3rd at the Prestige Event Center. This will include a silent auction, dinner, and dancing to the music of the Kipsies. Look for more information soon at familypromiseabq.org.

The columbarium has been ordered and plans are for installation in approximately 18-20 weeks. Regular prices are now in effect—$1500 for 12x12” and $1000 for 8x8” niches. Construction of the Garden will commence shortly.

See the bulletin board upstairs or near the SonShine Cafe for information about rooms and activities. A nursery is also available for young children in Room 138.

If you know someone who needs comfort, healing,

or encouragement, please consider giving them a shawl or lap robe that has been made with prayer. These can be found in the Hospitality Center.

Wings for L.I.F.E. meets every 1st and 3rd Monday at St. John’s, from 5:00 PM—7:30 PM. They are looking for volunteers to help prepare meals, eat dinner with them, and help with after-dinner tutoring. For more info, contact Ann Edenfield Sweet (554-6698).

In August, we're focusing on breakfast items for schoolchildren. Donations may include: cereals, oatmeal, pancake mixes, Bisquick, syrup (in plastic bottles), canned fruit, and granola bars. Place your donations in the shopping cart in the Hospitality Center.

For August, we will continue collecting supplies

for the teachers at Zuni. We also need volunteers to help serve at the luncheon and $$ for purchasing reading books in the classroom. Bring your donations to the Hospitality Center.
