FROM THE DESK OF PASTOR KEN...
The Angels of Christmas This Christmas series has focused on the Music of Angels and how theysang at creation, at the incarnation, and will join us forever in praising andworshiping our Great God in heaven. We saw Sunday how powerful angelsare and that God created differing spiritual beings to serve Him in theunseen realm just as He created you and me to serve Him in this visiblerealm. Can you believe that angels are so powerful? In 2 Kings, one angelwas able to defeat 185,000 soldiers in one night. WOW! If angels are thatpowerful, what does it say about their Creator and King, God Almighty? Scripture tells us that God created an incredible heavenly host, including aDivine Council that serves Him (Ps 82), seraphim and cherubim thatsurround His throne, and many other spiritual servants like archangels, angels, principalities, powers, dominions, rulers, and thrones. Some angelsappear in Scripture in the form of man without wings, others have wings, one, two, or three pairs. will see when we get to heaven? One of the most exciting facts in Hebrews 1:7 and 14 is that these angelsare tasked with watching over "those who will inherit salvation." Thatmeans, they are warning, guarding, and protecting us. God cares about Hispeople. This reflects the Christmas Story, that God so loved the world thatHe gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perishbut have eternal life (John 3:16). God loves us, wants to save us, watchesover us, and gives His angels charge to serve us. What a mighty God weserve! This Christmas Sunday, the focus will be on the Message of Angels. Join usfor an amazing time of worship and celebration on Christmas Eve Sunday. We will worship in the morning at 10:30am and in the evening at 6pm forCandlelight. All day long worshiping our Savior Jesus, the babe ofBethlehem, the perfect lamb of Calvary, and the King of Glory. Come Celebrate Jesus,Pastor Ken
