THRIVE Youth Ministry THRIVE YOUTH Tonight for Bible Study we will be starting with some ping pong and delicious beverages from She Brews Cafe. Then we will dive into the book of Deuteronomy with discussion time. Come to the Bethel youth room for 6:30pm and bring your Bibles and notebooks! This Friday we will be having a Christmas party with a white elephant gift exchange so bring a $5-$10 gift. This will be a night of games and activities as well

as our She Brews Cafe will be open! Come to Bethel at 7:00pm to join in the festivities! YOUNG ADULTS (18-21+) Thursday night come out to Sheldon and Destynn's house at 8:00pm for a Bible Study that gives you time to enjoy snacks, coffee and each others company while we dive into scripture. Bring your Bible, a pen, and notebook.

FINANCE REPORT

The Finance Committee met this week to review the church’s financial matters, and here’s an update:

*Spending is in order and similar to last year

*Expenses are at 87% of allowable budget

*The Kitchen Renovation Project is almost fully supported

*Income is at 75% of anticipated budget income

*Therefore we have a shortfall that needs to be caught up by year end

The Committee anticipates that this is what we will need to cover anticipated expenses by Dec 31:

Received after Nov. 1

General Fund $66,000 $54,822.43

Ministry Funds $21,000 $11,254.43

Kitchen Renovation $10,000 $5004.32

Total: $97,000 $71,081.18

This is a significant amount, so we do need the faithful giving of our people. Churches typically have a surge in giving in Nov/Dec, so we are confident this is a do-able amount.

Serving This Week

Francis and Esther pastor the mother church in the city of Infanta. They have programs for the men, women, youth and children. They have a discipleship course for newcomers and also provide leadership training for both men and women.

KITCHEN RENOVATION PROJECT

Our kitchen is used a lot in our church, and also by the community. It is one of the few health-certified kitchens in town. The project will cost $53, 340. We have already raised $49,111.72. This project is above our regular church budget; if you would like to support this project please donate to the building fund, with a note that it is for the kitchen reno.

MISSIONS ANNOUNCMENT… There are a few families in the church trying to organize a missions trip to Ensena-da, Mexico this coming July or August. The plan is to go with YUGO ministry. The project would be to help build a house for a local family. The cost is $325/adult and $225/child American, plus travel costs getting there. We need 10-12 adults in order to make this work.
