1CEC5 PROJECT – BASIC INFORMATIONhttp://www.projectcec5.eu/

The goal of the CEC5 project :

- Promote energy efficiency and renewable energy sources use through their application in public buildings

- Create a common pool of knowledge on RES and EE building solutions

- Create a transnational working platform useful for day-to-day practice for „past project period”

1CEC5 PROJECT – BASIC INFORMATIONhttp://www.projectcec5.eu/

- Collecting knowledge (20 relating EU programmes)

- Creation of core outputs for Day-To-Day usage

- Implementation and testing on 7 Pilot Buildings (7 Countries)

- Creation of National Study programs

- Pilot learning courses in CE Countries

- Creation of Transnational Working Group (NENA)

1CEC5 PROJECT – (Strategic Call)

ANSWER No 2. :- Lack of legal requirements - Market tools are

- to complex (but precise !)- performed by certified experts only- to „slow“- to expensive- not EU harmonised

CESBA

CESBA (Common European Sustainable Building Assessment)

- CESBA COMMON INITIATIVE TOWARDS PROMOTING A HARMONIZATION OF SUSTAINABLE BUILDING ASSESSMENTS

- holistic approach through harmonized indicators- support of transnational cooperation

- CESBA ASSESSMENTS TOOL - AS A DESIGN TOOL- AS A CETRIFICATION TOOL

CESBA

CESBA PRINCIPLES

-The user first - change of the perspective- Sustainable built environment – in ALL ASPECTS- Regional contextualization- Comparability of building performance- Mass orientation - Free platform, low cost usage- Simple to use - every Architect- Open source - local inputs „friendly“- Transparency - simple to understand - Co – creation - international team- References - easy to find

Page 14: This project is implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme c o-financed by the ERDF

CEC5 – CESBA ASSESSMENT TOOL

THE „LIGHT“ SIMPLIFIED TOOL FOR DAY-TO-DAY PRACTICE- Free software (National versions) - Low certification costs - less than 2.000,- EUR- To be used by all designers - simple training course necessary - Practical conclusions and recommendations- Easy to understand outputs and results- EU harmonized methodology

- CESBA AS THE ASSESSMENT TOOL

- CESBA AS THE DESIGN TOOL
