Your help is needed to sew Medical Face Masks
Today in northeast Ohio, health-care workers are experiencing shortages
in face masks needed to protect them from Coronavirus. Commercial masks are
running low and will soon run out. Those of us who sew could help greatly during
this self-quarantined time to produce them at home.
It is not difficult to make CDC-compliant face masks. They only take about 15-20
minutes each and can be made out of tight-weave fabrics and a little elastic.
Many of us already have the materials sitting on our shelves. Attached is an easy
instruction sheet. Also a “How To” video is on located on Chuck Mosberger’s
Facebook page.
Finished masks will be collected and distributed to local health-care
organizations. We want to do our best to help during this pandemic.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - Judy Fesko
My favorite Bible verse is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me." That gives me great comfort when life seems overwhelming at times.
Steve and I joined Trinity when Sam was baptized in June of 1991. I was asked
to jump right in and start a bell choir, which I did, and Bruce Tillberg and I
introduced "Now the Feast" to the congregation shortly thereafter! Good music
has always been a big part of what I wanted in a church, and now I get to lead
that part of Trinity's worship life. I have served on council on and off for MANY
years, and it was a privilege and blessing to lead the journey from "old Trinity"
to working with our interim pastors, calling Pastor Sara, and moving to share
space with LCC.
Favorite Trinity memory? Most of them involve my kids and their antics in the
early Christmas pageants: Luke blowing his shepherd headdress out of his
face, Jamie roaring like a dinosaur one year, and Sam oh so seriously being a
wise man. But the proudest moment had to be in 2014 winning an award at the
WCLV Jubilation Church Choir Festival. BG retreats also rank right up
there..."What happens at Mowana STAYS at Mowana!"
My hobbies are practicing yoga, getting lost in a good book, knitting [still
learning!] gardening in my little backyard, and, of course, traveling! I think I'd be
a great travel agent...but I'll stick with musician for now.
