Custom Shapes can fulfill your custom packaging and branding needs in ways that stock items just can’t. Our experienced design team can help you create a tailor-made product to serve your food with flair. Here’s how the process might go:

1. CONSULTATION Our team will meet with you to better understand your goals and discover how we can develop a custom product that meets your business needs.*

2. SKETCH A product designer will hand draw some possible solutions, get your input and revise as necessary.

3. DIGITAL MODEL Working off the sketches, our designer will create a dimensionally accurate digital model.

4. PHYSICAL MODEL Using the computer renderings, we’ll create a physical model using rapid prototyping technology to provide a real-life example of shape, size and user experience.

5. PROTOTYPE Once the initial design is perfected, we’ll create functional samples of your product out of the actual materials. At this stage we’ll test for things like strength, lid-fit and leak resistance.

6. FINISHED PRODUCT Once approved, we will begin production and deliver a custom package that helps you build your brand and satisfy your customers.

What is a QR code?A QR code is a scannable graphic that connects printed materials to digital content. When a customer scans a code using an app on their smartphone or tablet, they are automatically taken to a website, facebook page, coupons, videos, or any other form of digital media you can imagine.

Not only do we try to stay on the cutting edge of foodservice technology, but we also are constantly searching for new ways to engage and communicate with our customers and yours. One of the coolest way we do that is through QR codes printed on our stock and custom materials and products.

Which line is right for you? It depends! Consider what is important to you and your access to recycling and composting. We have something to fulfill your needs and meet your environmental goals, whatever they may be.

Made from renewable plant materials that can be grown again and again

Not made from oil like traditional plastics

All GreenStripe® products (except Plant Starch Cutlery) are compostable, which means they can be returned to the soil to help plants grow.

Compostable GreenStripe® products are ASTM compliant and BPI certified compostable in commercial facilities only, which may not exist in your area.

Not suitable for backyard composting. These products need the high heat of a commercial pile to break down.

Paper and Sugarcane products can go in the freezer, although they are not airtight, so freshness and freezer burn can become issues if left there for too long. Ingeo™ can become brittle when frozen, so we don’t recommend putting these products in the freezer.
