FALL YOUTH RETREAT—DEADLINE TODAY—We leave next Saturday the 26th at 7 am & plan to return around 6:30 pm on Sunday. The cost is $20 & the deadline is TODAY. We will have donuts available on Saturday morning at the church. Although no money is necessary, there will be opportunity to grab a snack on the way to, and the way from, Camp as we will be stopping at a gas station for a restroom break.

PACKING LIST: Bible, bedding items (For a bunk bed mattress), shower items, layered clothing for cool mornings and warm afternoons. Morris Paul & Family were told last Friday that he has months to live. Chemo is not helping so it has been stopped. He is tired and in some pain, but his spirits are good. They request continual prayers and they trust God’s will. William Leonard has had 3 plasma freisis and will have 2 more this week. Then they will wait for the insurance to approve the drug treatment that will put him in remission for his autoimmune disease.

THE CHILDREN’S HOME OF LUBBOCK is having Dollar Days today to raise money to feed the children under their care. One child can be fed for about $1 per meal and a Cottage of children can be fed for $10 per meal. Please consider donating for this cause.

WARM is desperately in need of volunteers to go to Walmart and various Lowe’s Market Stores in our area to collect food donations. These collections are made on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The food is then unloaded and put away by the staff and volunteers. It takes from 2-3 hours. You could volunteer to do one day a week, or less.
