Fitness Programs provide services to improve readiness for active duty and maintain healthy lifestyle behaviors for all authorized personnel.
HITT ProgramThe High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Program is a comprehensive combat-specific strength and conditioning program that is essential to a Marine’s physical development, combat readiness, and resiliency. The HITT program provides HITT training classes HITT workouts, unit PTs, competitions and Force Fitness Instructor (FFI) support.
Group ExerciseGroup Exercise enhances the overall physical fitness and wellness of our customers.A variety of Group Exercise Classes are offered at several fitness center locations.Active Duty is free, other authorized patrons are $3 per class. Unlimited monthly passes and punch cards are also available. The class schedule can be downloaded at mccsCP.com/getfit
Massage Therapy and Specialty Programs Massage Therapy and specialty programs are offered at several facilities. Programs include martial arts, dance, competitions, fitness seminars and workshops. Support is also available for unit events and FFIs.

Cancellation Policy If the customer is unable to keep an appointment, the customer shall notify the therapist of cancellation 24 hours prior to the scheduled date. The therapist has discretion to charge the customer a $15 cancellation fee in connection with the scheduled 30 min massage and $25 cancellation fee in connection with all other scheduled massages.

Group-X Class DescriptionsCardio Dance Fusion – Challenge your cardiovascular fitness while learning different styles of dance in this high-energy, multi-level class.
Cycle – 60 minute indoor cycle class simulating outdoor riding with sprinting, intervals, and hill work. Please bring water and a towel.
Barre – combines elements and techniques from Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga that will give you a total body workout. It is the perfect combination of strength, flexibility, and balance.
Functional Strength Training – a high-energy functional fitness class utilizing equipment including barbells, TRX, dumbbells, bodybars, and bodyweight to increase strength.
High Intensity Strength – Integrating both cardiovascular and strength training, this class targets a full-body workout, challenging all fitness levels.
STRONG – Combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation for a intense, full body workout.
Yoga – Improve balance, flexibility, mobility, and core strength, while learning mental relaxation and stress relief.
Power Yoga – a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Power Yoga takes the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of vinyasas, but gives each teacher the flexibility to teach any poses in any order, making every class different, emphasizing strength and flexibility.
Zumba – This cardio-Latin fusion class features aerobic interval training to maximize fat burning and total body toning, all to incredible music with moves that are easy to learn!

Commanding General’s CupThe Commanding General’s Cup provides active duty personnel stationed aboard Camp Pendleton, regardless of skill or experience, the opportunity to take part in a competitive unit sports program. The Commanding General’s Cup provides a diverse schedule of intramural events which include four competitive leagues and various one day tournaments. Units earn points for competing in Commanding General’s Cup events. The top three units with the most points in each division win a cash prize at the end of the year. Volleyball and Softball LeaguesA fun adult (co-ed) recreational league opportunity during the summer months of June and July.
These leagues are open to all Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, Retirees and Dependents over 18 years of age with a valid authorized patronID card.
Minimum of 5 teams and max of 10 teams per league. Leagues will run between 5-8 weeks depending on the number of teams. Since this is a fun recreational league, no awards or trophy's will be given forthis league.
Cost $220 per team. First come first served registration. Registration will end May 20 for Volleyball League and June 3 for Softball League.

The Youth Sports Program is for children ages 5-16 and focuses on the fundamentals of sports, safety, teamwork, having fun and developing skills for soccer, basketball, flag football, cheerleading, softball and baseball. Start Smart is an introductory sports program for children ages 3-4 for soccer and basketball. Youth Sports is proud to practice inclusion throughout all sports and welcome all skill levels and abilities with no tryouts! Registration Information$60/Child for all sports. This includes a few uniform essentials, a medal and trophy. $5 discount available for each additional child registered (First child must pay full registration fee). Registration is handled during the registration periods. Youth Sports has limited spots available so all registrations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis. SINGLE MARINE PROGRAM (SMP)
The Single Marine Program (SMP) enhances the quality of life for single, active duty personnel by providing positive and rewarding outlets through recreation, community involvement and dynamic facilities.
Events and Community InvolvementBase-wide meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 9:00am at various facilities across the installation. MCAS-Camp Pendleton’s meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00pm aboard the air station. The Single Marine Program staff and unit reps discuss quality of life issues, upcoming recreational events and volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer opportunities include: Habitat for Humanity, Toys-for-Tots, Adopt-a-School, beach cleanups, veterans and retirement home visits, and elementary school P.E. Challenges.
One-Day Trips include: local amusement park outings, sporting events, beach days, deep sea fishing and spa days.
Weekend Trips includes: skiing, white water rafting, traveling to Las Vegas and San Francisco and camping in the Grand Canyon, Sequoias and Zion National Park. Trips generally depart Friday mornings and return Sunday evenings. Price varies based
on trip cost and include transportation and lodging.

OverviewOutdoor Adventures is a program that exposes active duty service members to outdoor recreational activities. All events are one day activities located on base or within 120 miles of the surrounding base areas. Equipment for events will be provided by the program.
Unit RecreationOutdoor Adventures Unit based recreation is a free program for all active duty units aboard Camp Pendleton. A unit may request an event utilizing the unit request form. Units must request an event at least two weeks in advance, and no more than four months in advance of the desired date. Activities offered vary based on weather, event location and size of unit requesting the event. Activities are limited to activeduty participants.
Activities may include kayaking, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling, outdoor rock climbing, shore fishing, archery, mountain biking, hiking or a combination of these activities as a unit PT Challenge. Units may select other activities not listed, but may be responsible for the fees associated with that activity.
Active Duty RecreationOutdoor Adventures offers active duty service members aboard Camp Pendleton recreational opportunities that are fee based. Activities will be advertised and booked on a first come first served basis. These activities are geared towards smaller groups than those offered for unit recreation.
Activities may include ski and snowboard trips, beach days with surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and snorkeling, outdoor rock climbing, deep sea fishing, archery, mountain biking and hiking

The 13 Area Pool provides lap swimming and unit PT, recreational and instructional swimming. Enjoy year around lap swimming. Plus large sun decks and highly qualified Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards. Lap Swim/Unit PT – September thru May / Mon and Thu 10am-6pm, Tue Wed Fri 6am-2pmMemorial Day thru Labor Day / Tue thru Fri 6am-8:30am and 11am-1pm Recreational Swim – Recreation fees (from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend); Tue thru Fri 1:30-4:30pm and weekends Noon-6pm Camp Pendleton Youth Swim Program – 13 Area Pool / Sep – May / Mon and Thu / 4:15-5:15pm / $30 per month/ $35 for Guest. Qualifications: Participants ages 7 and up should have knowledge of each stroke and have the ability to swim 100 meters freestyle with rhythmic breathing in under 2 minutes and 45 seconds Summer Learn to Swim Program – $55 for 8 - 30 minute lessons,Tuesday thru Friday $65 for Guest Summer Private LessonsPrivate Lessons (one on one, ages 4 and up) $80 for 4 – 30 minute lessonsSummer Semi Private Lessons (two - 20 minute, one on one lessons) $100 for 4 – 40 minute lessons AMP ITHigh intensity, low impact water aerobic workout, call to schedule your unit PT AMP IT workout

HARD CORPS RACE SERIES
The Hard Corps Race Series offers numerous competitive races and family fitness events throughout the year and are only open to Camp Pendleton Active Duty, their Dependents, Retirees, and other authorized base patrons at reduced costs compared to other events. Events include Dog Walks, Trail Runs, multiple Holiday Themed Walks and Runs. Each event offers the opportunity for Marines and Sailors to volunteer and raise money for their Unit and Family Readiness Funds and receive a Letter of Appreciation.
The Marine Corps Mud Run is our premier obstacle course running event held every June. It attracts over 10,000 participants from throughout California for the civilian race, and over 2,000 Marines and Sailors for the Friday CG Cup Team Challenge. The CG Cup race is a 10K run through various training areas, including 25 Area Combat town, and features numerous obstacles and challenges. The Marine Corps Mud Run features the same 10K competitive race in addition to a 5K run and a 2K Kids run. It also offers the opportunity for Marines and Sailors to volunteer and raise money for their Unit and Family Readiness Funds. The event features an after-race party with music, food, the Mud Run Store, Kids activities, hot foamy showers, and a Vendor Village.
