Graduate Student Council supportsprogress and professional development viatravel awards, researcher and volunteer ofthe month spotlights, and fundingprograms and independent efforts usingour growing budget . GSC also hostsweekly student support groups to benefitgraduate student mental health.

Graduate Student Council is a conduitbetween graduate students and theGraduate School, universityadministrators, and campus-wide studentgovernment to directly advocate forgraduate students' needs and for policies,procedures, and programs that benefitgraduate and professional students.

Graduate Student Council brings graduateand professional students from allprograms together for the purpose ofnetworking, collaboration, and advocacyon common issues . GSC is committed tothe inclusion of international students,LGBTQ+, and groups traditionallyunderrepresented in higher education.
