It seems like each year another “get rich quick scheme” pops up. It makes its rounds on the internet, through email inboxes, over TV commercials and even through the mail. I mean, how many Nigerian princes with $95 million dollars who need your help and your bank account can there be? Yet, each year people are duped out of their hard-earned money because they think that just investing a “little” into some hair-brained idea will net them “a lot.” The “riches” of Christ were a key point in Paul’s preaching. Ephesians 3:8 says, “…this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ”. To Paul, only in Christ can we find true riches. These riches are not unsearchable because they cannot be found, but because they are so vast that they cannot be fully comprehended nor described. If you truly want to be “enriched”, you need to stop looking to the world to fulfill your needs. You need to look to Christ. I hope and pray that this St. Louis area-wide lectureship and lessons centered around the book of Ephesians will enrich your spiritual life! Aaron Baker,2017 St. Louis Lectureship Director

Barry O’DellBarry is a 1997 graduate of Memphis School of Preaching. He has been preaching for 20 years and currently serves as the preacher for the Church of

Christ in Mammoth Spring, AR and is the editor of the Fulton County Gospel News.

JC OwensJC is a member of the St Peter’s church of Christ and serves as a deacon. He is active in working with the congregation and often with the youth. He has spoken

at area youth rallies and will be bringing lessons directed towards the youth.

Denny PetrilloDenny has served as the President of the Bear Valley Bible Institute since 2004 and has been a full time instructor since 1985. He has taught numerous classes

for the World Video Bible School and has authored several books and commentaries.

Kathy Petrillo Kathy teaches several classes in the women’s program at the Bear Valley Bible Institute. Kathy and Denny have 3 children, 2 daughters-in-law, 5 grand-children, and a 4 month old kitten.

David PowellDavid is in his 24th year teaching at Freed-Hardeman University and serves as Assistant Dean of the College of Biblical Studies, a position he assumed

in 2007. In his 18th year, he also currently serves as Pulpit Minister for the North Jackson Church of Christ in Jackson, Tennessee.

Kelvin PughKelvin is a graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and is the pulpit minister for the Collinsville, IL church of Christ. He has worked with congregations

in Missouri and Illinois and has spoken at lectureships and Bible camps.

Matt StewartMatt Stewart currently preaches for the West End church of Christ in St. Charles Missouri. He served for 11 years as the preacher for the Southside church of Christ

in St. Louis Missouri. Matt has preached several gospel meetings in Missouri, Illinois and New York.

Jerry SullinsJerry is the director for the Bible Institute of Missouri located in Springfield, Missouri. Jerry established the Zambia School of Biblical Studies in Africa and

continues to work with the school there. Jerry is one of the elders serving the Kansas Expressway church of Christ in Springfield, Missouri.
