++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++was feeling disgruntled about the world and we got a record of what he feels
and wrote in 2003
When do you sit and reflect? Do you think everything is special?
Do you feel lucky to be here in this world?
In your own words write how you feel and what you think about when you are
alone. Do you think we are part of something which is magical?
Would you like to think what life would be like if there wasnt a t.v. What do you
think the differences would be?
With a partner discuss and write what activities you would do if there
wasnt a t.v. What would you do?
Do you think the things you experience on t.v. teach you lessons. What kind of
things do they teach?
In a small group go and assess three programmes that you feel have really
influenced you. What wrere they ? How did they influence you? Why?
Would you have liked to have been alive in the old days? What would be
good about it? What would be bad?
In a small group talk about what would have been different . Would the kids play well?
Do you feel much about being in the nature? Does it feel like home for you? Should it? Write a group
answer.
In the modern world we are exposed to so much . We have to see, hear and
read it. What would it be like if this particular content wasnt in your view.
How differently would people act? How different would people relate to
each other/ Would they be more friendly or less friendly. Why?
The children of today have a very mature perspective on life and are
very capable with alot around them Is it a good thing for them that they have
this reality to deal with. What way are they better off? Are they wanting change for the up and coming generations. What change ?
Is it true that our actions have affected the generations behind us. What could we have done differently. What can we
do to make change?
In a group scenario, discuss and record your findings. Imagine you are in charge of the
wellbeing of the thoughts and feelings of the next generation. Develop a charter with
eight points for ruling the nation
ALL PRODUCTS ARE PRODUCED FROM THE EARTH, AND THEY ARE ALL BIPRODUCTS FROM NATURE. When we package them does that make us think that there is
another element to who we are. Does the colorful packaging and advertising make us feel important on another level. Discuss. Brainstorm and come up with
answers. Record findings. Work in grpoups and record ideas. Come back to the group and share.
Have you found nature awesome. Name five different experiences you have had in the garden or
bushlands.
What is the best part about our world. Is it important to find things and
observe things in nature. Is it important to grow things in nature?
Why dont people do it much?
Knowing how you fit into nature is important, not for the sake of
t=feeling part of a deserving whole, but to know that the universe
provided an abundance for you. h Referring to one day in the life..
Powerpoint presentation how can we survive as a community with natures abundance? Discuss and present your
own findings.
What sounds different in the old days. Were they experiencing a different lifestyle to us. Why? How much of the time do you do things to look cool or be fashionable. If we are all a
part of a natural supportive world, shouldnt we feel different. How? What dsifferences can you make to your own
life?
Does Bens system of rewards seem different to yours or the same?
Do you like rewards. What do you think you should be rewarded for?
Are there enough reasons to reward people? Do people believe it? Yes or no? Why?
Is life really that difficult for some?
If you could change some ways that people act or the ideas they have
about other people what would you say? How would everyone feel if they applied your rules? Work in groups,
and do a drama showing a story about living your idea.
Do people value the rewards they get. Are there too many rewards, so
people think they deserve everything stright away.
Write about what it would be like if everyone did expect that they were
deserving and p[erfect and how much would they really want? What would
they want the most?
What does it mean to just have to “Do well”. What does it mean to
have to step up?
In pairs write about expectations upon you. How did they help you and how
did they hinder you. Write four examples for each.
Is the message children get from grown ups that life is all about
getting money? What other important lessons do we
teach about life? Are there other messages too that dont seem to fit with
those ones? What are they?
Is that a true statement from Ben, that everyone feels as though they are threatened and they try to be
pwerful to protect themselves through dress or behaviour
Have a class discussion, brainstorm ideas, and see what the majority think. Go into
smaller groups and devise what would have to be done for change. Would people be
able to do it without fearing?
Are little children innocent or can they easily understand the bigger picture of what is going on around
them? Should they be protected from what they see or hear? Why? Will they be
the best generation to come? What can we teach them?
Does Ben think that his generation were the only ones who knew how
to share and be a united front? Devise a letter to explain the great
things about being a child of today i 2012. Share with the group.
What are the good things about technology? What are the bad
things about technology? Is it true that there is no way of
change for the future. How much are we dependent on technology really?
Class discussion and writing your own ideas to share with your small group.
What human values do we use every day? Does ben have a point?
List the human values that people use all of the time, and then discuss what are the results of people using values.
Can they influence and help?
Look at your list of virtues
If everyone used values what would the people of the world be like. Would it make you weak or would it make you
strong? What would the impact be on a situation. Does it help it to move into something else?
Is it important to be able to change things or relationships or situations. Why?
Select three things from todays presentation that would help
society. Record your choices and explain why
you chose them? Paint a class mural about grassroots
Has ben helped you to be more informed about your world. Can you see how possibilities for change are
there, and that we can influence situations````
