We have managed to maintain our hours of operation through 2014. We do still have a deficit to fight by the end of the year. There are some great ways that you can still help us with this effort. Some do not even cost you a cent to do! We have a Kwik Trip card program, this does not cost you any money, as Kwik Trip gives us a portion of every card we sell. You buy a gift card at the library worth say, $50, or $100 and you get that same value at any Kwik Trip store, to buy gas, ba- nanas (they are always 38 cents a pound), milk, butter, or whatever else you are in need of. The Kwik Trip Cor- poration then gives our library 10% of the value of the card. So for every $100 worth of cards you buy, we re- ceive $10. It’s a win-win for everyone! (see page 4 for more details) Bake some goodies, we have an ongo- ing cookie sale in the library, and we are always looking for more baked items to sell. The best sellers are sim- ple normal cookies, chocolate chip, peanut butter, or the like. We sell these items individually, and all the proceeds stay at the library. Support our book sale, we will have our annual book sale during the vil- lage wide garage sales the first weekend of June. You can help be donating books, moves, CD’s and such for the sale; show up and help set up, and tear down; and/or come and purchase items from the sale. Sincerely, Raina THANK YOU! Thank You for your support and in-volvement in 2013. 2014 has been a tough financial year, even before it was here. You buy a gift card at the library worth say, $50, or $100 and you get that same value at any Kwik Trip store, to buy gas, ba-nanas (they are always 38 cents a pound), milk, butter, or whatever else you are in need of. The Kwik Trip Cor-poration then gives our library 10% of the value of the card. So for every $100 worth of cards you buy, we re-ceive $10. It’s a win-win for everyone! (see page 4 for more details)

Bake some goodies, we have an ongo-ing cookie sale in the library, and we are always looking for more baked items to sell. The best sellers are sim-ple normal cookies, chocolate chip, peanut butter, or the like. We sell these items individually, and all the

proceeds stay at the library. Support our book sale, we will have our annual book sale during the vil-lage wide garage sales the first weekend of

June. You can help be donating books, moves, CD’s and such for the sale; show up and help set up, and tear down; and/or come and purchase items from the sale.

Providence by Chris Coppernall

Providence is a story about a writer, Jack Clayton, who

sells millions with his first book about a small ministry

his church has. When he’s asked to write a follow up

book telling the world who Jack Clayton really is, he’s not

so sure. There are things in his past he’d rather be kept

a secret. Will he decide to tell all?

This story has it all--(non-cheesy) romance,

a little mystery and second chances! I

hightly recommend this book!

CLASSIFIEDS SUPPORT YOUR LIBRARY! If you already shop or purchase gas at Kwik Trip, you’re half-way to

supporting our library.

It’s an easy program. Simply purchase the Kwik

Trip cards at the library for $50 or $100 (face

value) and Kwik Trip donates 10% of the pro-

ceeds to our library. That’s a great deal! And

there’s no extra cost to you!

A good portion of our funding comes from the community here in the

North Freedom area. Throughout the year we have books sales and

bake sales and the Kwik Trip card program is just one more opportu-

nity to give a little something back to our library.

Where does the money go? Among other things:

materials

maintenance

and just keeping our library in business!

Thank you!
