The Smart Energy Analy5cs Campaign
Facilitates adoption of analytics software and ongoing monitoring to help owners, facility and energy managers, and operators improve building performance Campaign participants across the country receive technical support and national recognition for their efforts in implementing EMIS software and MBCx processes
The Smart Energy Analy5cs Campaign
We acknowledge the BBA EMIS members who served on the Working Group in early 2016 to advise LBNL on Campaign design and delivery questions:
Mike Robbins – Emory University Kinga Porst – General Services Administration Pat Ferguson – JLL Pat Lydon – Legacy Health Doug Rath – Marriott Bill Lakos – Michigan State University Arun Veda – NY Power Authority Aaron Daly – Whole Foods
Thank you!
Par5cipant -‐ Campaign Pledge Minimum Requirements
EMIS installa0ons may be new, exis5ng, or enhanced and include one of the following:
Any energy management process is eligible (RCx, MBCx, SEM, Ongoing Cx, etc.)
Develop an MBCx plan and implement an ongoing MBCx process
EIS with submetering of major end uses and embedded M&V
FDD or ASO software with BAS data for all HVAC systems
Use EMIS to analyze data and identify energy-saving opportunities
Implement at least one energy-savings opportunity annually
EIS with whole building hourly meter data
OR
FDD or ASO software with BAS data for at least one system (e.g. chilled water)
Best Prac0ce
Achieve minimum requirements, AND
Sharing Ac5ons
• Quarterly • Use Campaign webform to share information on the progress of your
EMIS activity, actions underway or completed, changes in plans since pledging
• Use “Measures Implemented” to document specific energy-saving measures
• Annually
• Upload Energy Star Portfolio Manager report if you have it • Else, use optional spreadsheet to document pledged facilities’ energy
use for 2016, 2017, 2018
Important note: all data shared with the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign will be kept confidential. Data sent to the Campaign is protected against unintended or unauthorized access.
