These K-8 Olentangy students took it to a whole new level --
literally!
Each of them earned a spot in a state, regional or national
academic competition during the 2019-2020 school year.
We celebrate you!
In Olentangy schools, we believe that learning extends beyond the walls of our
classrooms. We encourage our students to take on challenges that allow them to
apply their learning to the real world.
Across the district, our schools participate in a wide range of enrichment programs
such as Spelling Bee, National Geographic Bee, math competitions, Invention
League, and many more. As teachers, gifted specialists, and coaches we can
provide opportunities for our students, but it is really what they choose to do with
those opportunities that makes the difference. And, wow do our students amaze us!
Every Olentangy school has examples of students who deserve recognition for
their hard work and dedication. Due to the current crisis we are unable to recognize
all of our students as we typically would. We have compiled a list here to
recognize those students in grade K-8 who competed at the regional, state, or
national level.
Please join us in celebrating these students’ achievements. We are so proud of you!
