1 Put the plug in the wall socket.

II: Care & Dry setting - strong airflow andcaring temperature for fast but gentle drying.

I: Styling setting - low airflow, especiallyintended for styling.

The Care Mode light goes on when you selectthe Care & Dry setting or the Styling setting toindicate that you are drying with care.

3 Dry your hair by making brushingmovements while holding the dryer at asmall distance from your hair.

Concentrator

The concentrator enables you to direct theairflow at the brush or comb with which you arestyling your hair.

C 1 Connect the concentrator by simplysnapping it onto the appliance. Disconnectit by pulling it off.

Comb diffuser

The diffuser enables you to create volume, a fancyflick or to simply comb your hair.

C 1 Connect the diffuser by simply snapping itonto the appliance. Disconnect it by pullingit off.

VolumeUse the comb diffuser to add volume at the rootsof your hair.

C 1 Insert the pins into your hair until theytouch your scalp.

2 Start at the lower part of your head andmove upwards slowly. Make rotatingmovements with the appliance to dispersethe warm airflow evenly through your hair.

Cleaning

Replacement

Troubleshooting guide

If problems should arise with your hairdryer andyou are unable to solve them by means of thetroubleshooting guide below, please contact thenearest Philips service centre or the PhilipsCustomer Care Centre in your country.

The appliance does not work at all.

B Perhaps there is a power failure or the socket isnot live.

Check if the power supply is working. If it is, checkwhether the socket is live by plugging in anotherappliance.

B Perhaps you failed to switch the appliance on.Make sure the appliance is plugged in.Then switchit on.

B Perhaps the appliance overheated and switcheditself off.

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for afew minutes. Before you switch the appliance onagain, check the grilles to make sure they are notblocked by fluff, hair, etc.
