Hardness Testing – Qualified personnel and equipment for testing base materials, welds, and heat affected zones. Telebrineller Hardness and Ultrasonic Contact Impedance testing available.

Magnetic Particle Testing – Level I and Level II technicians available for dry powder or wet fluorescent testing.

Liquid Penetrant Testing – Level I and Level II technicians available for solvent removable and water washable penetrant testing.

Radiographic Testing – Level I and Level II technicians available on site.

Ultrasonic Testing – Level I and Level II Phased Array, Shearwave, and Thickness testing available.

Positive Material Identification – Personnel and equipment qualified for identification testing of base materials and welds.

Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) – CWI’s on staff for inspection of welds to ASME and AWS welding specifications. CWI’s available with certification in MT, PT, and UTSW.

Boroscope Inspection – On site boroscope with digital video and photograph capability. Remote visual inspection possible up to 50 feet inside of parts.

Hydrostatic and Leak Testing – Hydrostatic leak testing up to 10,000 psi for most components. Air leak testing available also.

Holiday and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) testing of coatings available.

FULL SERVICE NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING AND INSPECTION At Hartford Quality Assurance, LLC we offer :

Ultrasonic Testing - We have Level II Shearwave and Thickness technicians available for work at our location or yours. We are in the process of adding Phased Array procedures and qualifications to our inspection program as well.

Magnetic Particle Testing - We have Level I and Level II technicians available for work at our location or yours. Dry Powder or Wet Fluorescent.

Liquid Penetrant Testing - We have Level I and Level II technicians available for work at our location or yours.

Radiographic Testing - We have Level I and Level II technicians available, but at this time only at our shop in New Albany, IN.

Positive Material Identification – We have personnel and equipment qualified for the identification of base material and welds. Available at our location or yours

Hardness Testing - We have personnel and equipment (indenter and/or UCI) qualified for the hardness testing of base material, welds and/or heat affected zones. Available at our location or yours.
