His Excellency the Governor's Deputy. The Honourables—The Premier,

R. II. Underwood, M.L.A. Corr. No. 10562/11; W.S. 962/14.

Wli ER BAS by Section 42 of " The Laud Act, 1898," it is made lawful for the Governor to direct that any Reierve shall vest in and be held by any Municipality, bond Board, or other person or persons to be named in the order, in trust for any of the purposes set forth in Section 39 of the said Act, or for the like or other public purposes to be specified in, such order: And whereas, it is deemed expedient that Reserve No. 14086, (Avon, ,North Baandee) should vest in and be held by the Honourable the Minister for Water Supply, Sewer-age, and Drainage, in trust for the purpose of "Water": Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, Moth hereby ffirect, that the before-mentioned Reserve shall vest in and be held by the Honourable the Minister for Water Supply, Sewerage., and Drainage, in trust for the purpose aforesaid; subject, nevertheless, to the powers reserved to him by Section 41 of the said Act.

(b.) By amending Regulation 21 by deleting the words "to cross" in the first line of the Regulation, and insert-ing in lieu thereof the words "to come or remain within five miles on either side of."

NOTICE is hereby given, and it is hereby declared, that the several pieces or parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto—being all in the Municipality of Northam—have, in pursuance of the written approval and consent of His Excellency the Governor, dated the 27th day of October, 1915, been set apart or taken for the purposes of the Municipality of Northam Scheme for the improvement of the embankment of the Avon. HARVEY ROAD BOARD: Proposed Loan of £3,000.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Harvey Road Board proposes to borrow a sum of Eight thousand pounds for the making of certain Roads in the North; South, Central, and West Wards.
