DayBreak - Please remember that DayBreak will be using our facilities on Sunday morning at 9:30, so please use the main entrance. All are welcome to the Fellowship Dinner this Wednesday 11/16 at 5:30pm! Come out and enjoy a meal prepared by our Hospitality Ministry, along with some great conversation. Dessert donations are welcome. Please sign up today in the narthex so we can prepare enough food! The Men's Fellowship group of St James UCC will be serving dinner to the homeless in Pottstown on Thursday November 17th. We'll be at Trinity UCC in Pottstown from about 8:30 to 10:00 PM. See the sheet and menu in the narthex to sign up to serve or volunteer to supply food.  For more information call Jay Smith at (215) 256-4071 Congregational Meeting We request the honor of your presence for the St. James’ Congregational Meeting to be held Sunday, November 20th following the worship service. Advent Decorating for the church will be Saturday November 26th from 10 to 1pm. If you have any questions please contact Ed or Sue at (610) 754-6200 Hurricane Matthew Disaster Relief -Over 1,000 people have died, and hundreds of thousands of lives have been uprooted by Hurricane Matthew, from the Caribbean to North Carolina. UCC Disaster Ministries, which has been present to the affected areas since long before the storm, is responding with support for survivors. 

For those who wish to donate to the Hurricane Matthew relief efforts you can go onto the UCC.org website, click on the “Change the World” heading, and donation opportunities will pop up as well as the last news on the situation, relief efforts, and remaining needs. 

Conference and Local EventsThere will be an electronic recycling pickup at St Teresa's R. C. Church, Swamp Pike and Neiffer Roads Sunday, November 13th from 8:15 to 1:00 p.m.  They do not take  TV's.

Wentz’s United Church of Christ is sponsoring a Walking Garage Tour of 6 garages in Skippack where you will see some great automobiles on Sunday,

Quiet Days on Various Dates in East Greenville

2016 Dates: DEC 6 Quiet Days are held at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road in East Greenville, PA 18041. They are designed to open new avenues of communing with God, and to provide an opportunity for sharing faith journeys and stories. They allow for Sabbath time and renewal in the midst of our busy world. There is no formal registration, but a minimum donation of $5 is requested on Quiet Day. Each participant is asked to bring a Bible, journal, pen and a bag lunch. Come and see what God has in store for you!

Tuesday Afternoons – Quilting for a Cause – PottstownTrinity Reformed UCC, 60 N. Hanover Street in Pottstown 19464 teaches low-income and homeless people how to quilt on Tuesday afternoons from 2 pm to 5 pm. If you are a quilter, and would like to share your gifts with others, please contact Barbara Cooper through the church: 610-326-2243.
