Psychoanalysis

Sigmund Freud Assumes problems are created by childhood

memories, impulses and conflicts Psychoanalysis brings these childhood

memories and conflicts into consciousness to be “worked through” and resolved.

Double blind technique– Used to determine the extent of the placebo effect.
