It lls us with great pleasure to welcome you to the 8 International Conference on Pain Management (ICPM-2019) organized by the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh on 12-15 October 2019 in collaboration with The Indian Society for the Study of Pain (ISSP)- Chandigarh city branch and the Society for Ultrasound in Anaesthesia(SUA).

ICPM 2019 will feature the academic bonanza in the vital eld of pain management in the form of workshops, symposia, panels and debates, free papers and poster presentations. The distinguished Faculty from India and abroad will deliberate on several topics of practical interest to all.

Chandigarh, the “City Beautiful”, is one of the early planned modern cities of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. Chandigarh and the area surrounding it were constituted as a Union Territory on November 1, 1966. Chandigarh serves as the combined capital for both Punjab and Haryana states. It is one of the perfect cities of the world in terms of architecture, cultural growth and modernisation. Chandigarh's Capitol Complex was declared as a World Heritage by UNESCO in July 2016.

Apart from the various city attractions including the world famous Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Capitol Complex, Sector 17 plaza, cultural and leisure activities, Chandigarh also acts as the gateway to a number of picturesque and historical tourist attractions within striking radius, including Shimla and other hill stations in the foothills of the Shivalik Range of the Great Himalayas.

Ø Registra�on is pre-requisite for acceptance of the proposal.

Ø Abstracts are to be sent by email at: [email protected]

Ø Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented at any other prior mee�ng. If, however, the abstract to be presented is on a topic you have used before, but now have developed a new poster or presenta�on with a varied viewpoint (or focused on a different aspect of the research) then you are welcome to submit the abstract.

Ø Abstracts may not be edited/updated a�er final submission. You are welcome to bring an updated abstract onsite with you.

Ø Conflicts of Interest / Disclosure: Work submi�ed for presenta�on must include an acknowledgment of funding sources of commercial nature and/or consul�ng or holding of significant equity in a company that could be affected by the results of the study.

Ø The Conference Scien�fic Commi�ee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted. They will endeavour to schedule abstracts according to authors’ presenta�on preferences (oral/poster) but reserve the right to decide on the final form of presenta�on.

Ø Abstracts for free papers/posters must be submi�ed with the following sec�ons: Background, Objec�ve, Methodology, Results, and Conclusions Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline to ensure they are sent to review for inclusion in the Scien�fic Program.

Ø The abstract should be maximum of 300 words and preferably completed in one page including references(maximum 3).

Ø The poster space will be provided to you a�er acceptance of the abstract by scien�fic commi�ee. The poster size must not be more than 48 inches (ver�cal) x 36 inches(horizontal).

Ø The decision of scien�fic commi�ee will be final and number of posters will be limited for poster walk.

1. Registration fee for both national and international delegates/faculty/residents/nurses/ paramedics is in INR.

2. Registration is mandatory for all faculty and delegates

3. Registration of ‘Workshop only’ (with stay charges) includes only one night tariff of hotel. If stay is extended, then per night extra tariff will be charged and it will be according to availability of accommodation .

4. Registration with stay charges will be arranged only till September 15, 2019. and after that the accommodation shall be done on individual basis by faculty/delegate at the prevailing hotel tariff based on availability.

5. ‘Workshop Only’ registration includes complementary workshop kit, tea and Lunch (Only on 12th October 2019).

6. ‘Conference Only’ registration is from 13th Oct. 2019(check –in) to 15th Oct.2019(check out).

7. Stay provided by organizers will be according to option preferred by delegates as per availability.

8. Registration can be made through Online transfer/Cheque/Draft. The bank Details are given on registration form and on website.

9. Registration fee does not include any tours or travels. The delegates may arrange such trips with the designated tours and travels agency or any others for any short/Distant trips to various places and it will be on extra payment basis.

10. Transport will be available by organizers from hotels to venue at least thrice each day to and fro.

11. Registration of ‘Conference Only’ and ‘full registration’ includes Conference kit, Lunch, Tea and dinner (including Banquet) on all days (13th to 15th October 2019) .
