Dr. Upali Mahanama

Dr. Upali Mahanama is a Management and Marketing Trainer of

international repute, with exceptional Training skills and a unique style.

In 2005, he was conferred a Doctorate in Business Management by

Phoenix International University and a Fellowship by the Society for

Business Practitioners U.K. He also holds the Membership of the New

Zealand Institute of Management.

He started his life as a Sales Representative at Unilever Sri Lanka and

held various distinguish positions in his colorful working career from

Senior Brand Manager to Director & General Manager of different

multinationals. He has functioned as Marketing Consultant, to over 40

leading organizations in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia,

Bangladesh, Australia and Singapore.

In 1998, he was approved by the United Nations as a Consultant Trainer;

to train UNHCR personnel in selected countries in Asia.

He has an excellent track record with Junior Chamber International

USA, popularly known as Jaycees. Dr. Mahanama has visited over 40

countries and conducted Training Seminars on marketing and sales in

over 20 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia & the Middle East. He is the

proud father of Devaka - a past professional Cricketer in Australia and

Roshan Mahanama - former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain and current ICC

Elite Panel Match Referee.
