Many agents will resort to setting clients up to receive automated emails, allowing you to filter through the online marketing to find one that appeals to you before visiting.

The problem with this is that the filters may not catch all of the right homes for you and the online marketing for the properties you’re looking at may be very deceiving! Great marketing can make a home look larger and nicer than it actually is, while poor marketing may have you skipping over the perfect home.

Similarly to when you go shopping with a friend who makes you try on an outfit you wouldn’t normally try and you LOVE IT, the same thing happens with homes.

Put away your computer, have your agent schedule appointments and get out for a couple of hours to look at properties in person. It doesn’t cost you a penny, just a little bit of time.
