The frame and handle are made from a one piece ductile iron casting which is guaranteed unbreakable, whilst the flash hardened teeth increase wear resistance. The hardened and tempered steel adjustment nut gives a longer working life and the precision machined screw thread and spring jaw remain open until pressure is applied. Conforms to British Standard BS3594.

The hardened and tempered hook jaw eliminates breakage, whilst the flash hardened teeth increase wear resistance. The nut abutment means that all loading is transferred direct from the handle to the nut and jaw via the nut abutment, ensuring that the frame is not load bearing, thus reducing the possibility of frame failure. Conforms to British Standard BS3594.

An adjustable pipe wrench that turns a pipe in either direction. Ideal for use on round, square, or irregular shapes in confined spaces, eg when a pipe is in a trench or against a wall. Drop forged steel jaws are both hardened and tempered for maximum strength. The tensile steel chain loops quickly around the pipe and, once locked, holds it in place to prevent slippage. Only the teeth on the face of the handle bite into the pipe, meaning that, when these become worn, the jaws can be reversed to double the life of the tool. Drop forged steel cylindrical handle.
