Amandine : - Hello ! Léontine : - Hello ! Amandine : - I would like to have informations on the Titanic, please. Léontine : -Yes, what are your questions ? Amandine : - When was It built and who did it ? Léontine : - It was built in 1907 by the architect Thomas Andrews. Amandine : - What was its route and where did it sink ? Léontine : - It left the harbour of Southampton, stopped at Cherbourg and Queenstown, then, had to cross the Atlantic ocean and arrive to New York but it sank in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.Look at the map, there is the route. Amandine : - Ok, thank you but…why did it sink ? Léontine : - It sank because it was navigating quickly when it hit an iceberg that the watchtower had not seen. Its five first compartments filled up with water and it began to sink.
