Is this the return to Oz?The grass is dead, the gold is brown, and the sky has claws

This is from a song by the Scissor Sisters. I was driving home with my camera listening to this song and saw these jet fumes and thought those could be claws. Then I thought what if due to climate change there were no more clouds and scientists concocted this special fuel that created some cloud cover but made the sky looking like something out of the Wizard of Oz. The visual aesthetic I was going for was LA smog on LSD. I couldn't get the grass to do exactly what I wanted. I wanted it desaturated and deader than dead looking at the bottom but have it gain color toward the top because of the crazy light effect from the sun coming through these vapor clouds. It is sort of like in the Animatrix when the humans block out the sun to deprive the machines from their source of energy, but instead we needed the added pollution to create at least minimal protection from some crazy UV rays coming from the sun that our atmosphere was no longer protecting us against because of all the other pollution we caused. So it is a climate change/ anti-pollution statement of sorts. The last picture I wanted a Pink Floyd type pic with the cows, and a Wizard of Oz type pic with the rural mailbox. I wanted an old dilapidated house in the pic, but I think it works without a house. The fact there is a mailbox and no house makes even more bizarro. The order I placed these shots in is progressive. The sun in a cloudless sky with jet trail fumes. The dead grass with the pollution going on overhead. Then more jet trails and the makings of more clouds. Instead of gold I have what should be golden leaves that are turning brown. The grass is somewhat of a literal translation, but I wanted that low angle where the frame was half dead ground and psychedelic sky.
