Function: columns archaeological and

ancient city.

Located: Ma'na governorate, Jordan.

Curiosity: In 2002 was found a reservoir

the size of an Olympic swimming pool in

the center of Petra. They estimate that

the aqueduct system can be loaded 40

million liters of drinking water per day.

Located: Agra, India.

Curiosity: Emperor Shah Jahan built the monument

over the tomb of his favorite wife. Therefore, the Taj

Mahal is also known as the greatest proof of love in

the world, with inscriptions taken from the Koran,

with stones precious details and its dome sewn with

gold thread.

Curiosity: only third of the original 6450 km

existed at that time and each year that passes

the length gets shorter. The lack of

awareness of conservation is a serious threat.

Nowadays it is the largest tourist spot of

Peru

Function: lost city that was inhabited by

the Inca civilization.

Located: Andes, Peru.

Curiosity: Only 30% of the buildings are

original , the rest was restored and

adapted for the visitations.

Mexico

Construction started: 435 b.C.

Function: city built by the Maya civilization.

Located: municipality of Tinum, in the

Mexican state of Yucatán.

Brazil

Construction started: 1921.

Heigth: 8 meters in pedestal and thirty the

statue.

Located: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Curiosity: In the original design Jesus

hold a globe and a cross in his hands,

celebrating 100 years of independence

of Brazil.
