Imagine For a Moment Waking Up To This Every Morning - Walking Through It, Smelling It - All Without Someone There Saying It Will Be Ok.

Now Think Of Seeing This When You’re 6 or 10!

“Kids of tomorrow don’t need today when they live in the sins of yesterday”

““Pay my respects to grace and virtue, Send my condolences to good, Give my regards to soul and romance, They always did the best they could And so long to devotion You taught me everything I knowWave goodbye…. Are we human or are we dancers?”

“I have seen a lot of dead people around, all over, and I guess when you see so many, it doesn’t really make much of an impression. One of the times in Ostrowiec Lager I was in the outhouse, in the bathroom which

was on the corner of the area where it was a big area in the centre of the camp, and then all the barracks were around it. And I happened to have

gone into the outhouse and all at once there was a commotion and everybody rushed to the barracks, because that’s where they were

supposed to, and I got stuck in the bathroom. Well, I got up on the seat and looked out of a little window on top, and what had happened was that some people had tried to escape, and they were caught. I guess they were

wounded, and there was some shooting going on. They got about 4 people to dig graves just outside the wire fence of the camp. And then

they brought the people who tried to escape that were shot but not dead and made the other Jews bury them alive and they were begging for them to do something to kill them instead of being buried alive. But they didn’t

do anything and buried them alive, because these poor people were picked to do it and if they didn’t they too would end up dead. That was a

very, very traumatic experience. I can still hear those poor people screaming”

GENO meaning race or group, Cide meaning killing

We need to remember what happened during the holocaust so those horrors do not get repeated. But they are still continuing all around the world in Rwanda, Darfur and Sudan. And we still turn away, cover our ears and say we can’t hear the screams. What will it take for all this to end? And after the holocaust, many things should have changed but it hasn’t. We all still judge at appearances of another human being. We still use violence to solve differences, show power and strike fear in those we still do not understand. And once the holocaust survivors are gone and no one wants to remember their stories, the world will not have learned anything from all those deaths. The world will continue fighting for the things it always has. And that’s when a new-age Hitler will take power and finish what Hitler started in 1933. And they will have the means to wipe out an entire race.

And what will the rest of the world do? Turn our heads and say, “As long as you don’t come this way and kill us, do what you will to them.” Why is it taking so long for everyone to see we are Brothers and Sisters living in the same home! Just because we look different, or sound different does not mean we are not the same. Why can’t we all agree war has been going on long enough that it needs to stop now. The children have been dragged into killing over reasons they still cannot understand. Some pick up guns to play war games, but some just aren’t playing. In ten years 2 million children have been killed because of war, one million orphaned, six million seriously injured. Since 1998 children have been used as soldiers in at least 36 countries. Countries like RWANDA, Uganda, Palestine and SUDAN. When will we stop covering our ears and start raising our voices?
