The NCFA is very excited to announce the locations for the 2017 playoff and championship games. First up, the South Atlantic and Mid Atlantic Conference champions will battle it out at Spartan Field in Salem, VA. Returning for the 7th year in a row, Salem has become a staple in the NCFA post-season schedule. Equipped with a 1,100 capacity grandstand, a fully synthetic turf, and locker rooms, Spartan Field is the perfect place to host this semi-final game once again. This match up kicks off on November 18
th at 3pm.
That same day and time, the NCFA and the Erie Sports Commission have teamed up again to host the North Atlantic and Great Lakes Conference champions in Erie, PA at Dollinger Field. Dollinger Field is fully turfed and boasts a 2,000 person seating capacity, locker rooms, and a state of the art scoreboard and sound system. Such a venue is fitting for this crucial step before the National Championship game.
The winners of the NCFA playoff games will then travel to Wheeling, WV to play in the NCFA National Championship at West Liberty University. Last year’s championship matchup and experience was top-notch so it only made sense for the NCFA to return for the 2017 season. With state of the art amenities and a central location in the league, the NCFA is very excited to be heading back to WLU. Sandy Sanderson, President of the NCFA, echoes this enthusiasm: “The atmosphere for last year’s NCFA National Title game was electric and we’re excited to be able to return the event once again to West Family Stadium on the campus of West Liberty University!”
