The Rotaract Club of NCU was formed in August

1998, and is the oldest institution based club in dis-

trict 7020.

We are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mande-

ville. Over our 16 years of existence, the club has

won several presidential citations, we are the first

institution based to win the “Club of Year” award

from the district. In 2010, the club also won the

“International Project of The Year” award for its

project, “Project Green Day” which saw 213 trees

being planted by 21 clubs around the world almost

simultaneously. In 2012, the club received a "Gold

Award" for outstanding performance.

The club logo which was developed and introduced

in 2012 represents the institution which hosts us-

Northern Caribbean University, otherwise called

“The Beacon on the Hill”.

The logo concept was chosen to represent that the

Rotaract Club of NCU is reaching out to its commu-

nity from the hilltop, being a beacon emulating its

institution
