The Pulse of Mixed Media represents the

integration of two distinct yet overlapping sides

of Seth Apter It combines his passion for art with

his experience in psychology As a mixed-mediaartist his work has been published in many

books national magazines and independent

zines and has been exhibited in multiple galler-

ies He is the host and organizer of a number of

international collaborative art projects as well As

a PhD in psychology Seth has studied human

behavior published numerous scientific articles

and provided therapy services to a wide rangeof people He splits his time between creating

art in his studio and seeing clients in his private

practice officemdashlife experiences that join together

to form the foundation for this book Seth lives in

New York City and finds inspiration every time he
