Thank you to our readers and everyone in the Mt. Pleasant area who helped us provide com-munity news, announcements, and happenings to our community members for the past year.

I have been repeatedly humbled by the energy and love for this great city that is shown through the work of the many city, county, and charity workers who try every day to make Mt. Pleasant a little bit better.

We are truly blessed to have so many people who give so much to keep Mt. Pleasant a great place to live, work, and shop.

And so it with a heavy heart that I announce that this will be our last weekly edition.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who

have provided content for our current events pages, written articles, shared photos from com-munity happenings, sent in ideas, or helped us with our local research.

A special thank you to the city of Mt. Pleasant, the city clerk’s office, and the Isabella County clerk’s office for helping teach this old dog new tricks in how to find the information our readers were looking for.

I am truly grateful for the opportunities to have met so many great community leaders. Whether we have agreed or disagreed, I respect and appreciate your desire to do what you think is right for this city. Thank you all.
