Safety & Security

Gate Security Changes

Effective January 1, 2019, the 30 day gate pass will no longer be in use. In its place we will be using a 14 day maximum pass. Medical service providers with business verifiable ID’s will continue to be issued 30 day passes when requested.

Why the change?

The most important reason is the safety of our community. During review of the 30 day pass process, we found that very often there was misuse by people outside of the Kings Point Community to gain access to the clubs, pools and other amenities. Once these passes were distributed it was nearly impossible to get them back.

Please continue to be diligent when you call in your guests and visitors. How the gate passes are distributed plays a major role in the safety and security of our community. A dishonest repair person or someone you do not know well may try to take advantage of you by requesting a multiday pass. If this occurs, the answer is an emphatic NO. Think twice before giving anyone more than a one day pass. Security and your neighbors will appreciate and benefit from your safety awareness.

Chief of Security
