THANK YOU To everyone who came to the fire on Handscombe Road, Yoting on the afternoon of Wednesday 13 November. I cannot thank you enough for helping to put out the fire. The community we live in is so amazing! All of my neighbours are truly wonderful and the Quairading Fire Brigade volunteers are so professional. QUAIRADING MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL Pool Season has commenced. Wednesday – Monday 12pm - 7pm Early Morning Swimming – Monday, Thursday & Friday 6am – 7 am. Season Passes available at the Shire Office. SHIRE OF QUAIRADING Dog and Cat registrations due from 1 November 2019. All dogs over the age of three months must have a micro-chip and be registered with the Shire. You may choose to licence your dog for one year, three years or lifetime. Please remember that being the owner of

a dog is a big responsibility. You have a legal responsibility to ensure that your dog does not harm or threaten any other person or animal. This means that you must be able to contain and control your dog on your property and when in public your dog must always be kept on a leash. If you have any questions, please contact the Shire Office during business hours on 9645 2400. LETTERS TO SANTA It is that time of year! Santa is waiting to hear from all the boys and girls. Start writing your Christmas letters and post them before 15 December in Santa's special mail box - situated outside the door at Quairading Book Post - so you can receive your personal hand written reply from Santa! There are special free postcards available, or you can write your own letter or draw a picture, whatever you like. Address your letters to: “Santa, North Pole, 9999” and pop on a 65 cent stamp (please remember to pop your name and address on the letter so Santa knows where to send a letter back to). Also to receive a personal hand written letter back from Santa, you can only post your Santa letters at the Quairading Book Post.
