Educators gain knowledge and skills to grow mindful practices for their own wellbeing, self-care and personal empowerment. We currently offer 3 courses for educators:

Mindful Teacher (5 hour course + home practice) This beginner course includes understanding mindfulness, simple neuroscience, and using practical mindfulness techniques, eg: the breath, body awareness & movement to develop awareness of emotions and habit responses to situations in the classroom or educational setting.

Mindful Early Career Teacher (5 hours+ home practice) This program provides new teachers with practical mindfulness techniques to better understand and manage their emotional responses to the challenges of the teacher role, including work/life balance, responding to student behaviour and nurturing self-compassion.

Empowered Teacher (5 hour course + home practice) This intermediate course is for teachers who have already completed the Mindful Teacher Program. This program extends skills and daily awareness of mindfulness practices including: turning towards challenging emotions, living in the present & mindful relationships. The course also provides educators with simple mindfulness practices that can be used with students in their classroom or educational setting.
