The Sherman Williams Post No. 188 of the American Legion of this city will dedicate their new hall on Wednesday, Novem- ber 29 at 8 p.m. The Post Com- mander, Mr. Adolphus Lang, is a very active man. He is assist- ed by Mr. O. Youngblood and others. A splendid program is planned. On Sunday, October 26, at 7 p.m. Low Mass was celebrated at St. Matthew Episcopal Church, Choral Mass and sermon at 11 a.m. and Solemn Vespers at 7 p.m. On the 28th the Feast of St. Simon and St. Jude was celebrat- ed at 6 a.m. with Holy Com- munion. The members of St. Matthew’s Church are proud -to say that their priest, Father Elisha Clark, Jr., who has been ill, is up and is at his post at every service. Miss Marian Pincier of Miami, teacher of physical education at Carver High School of this city, seems to be enjoying her stay. She is liked by the entire facul- ty and student body.
