Once upon a time on a late night, there was a bad storm coming.
There was a little boy named Jack, who had an Arctic fox. The fox’s
name was Nikki. She decided to run away because of the storm.
The next morning, Jack went outside to play with Nikki, but she was gone!
He made some phone calls but had
no luck.
Later that day, he hopped on the train to go search for Nikki.
He asked all the people on the train if they had seen her.
Meanwhile, Nikki is headed towards a fishing town because she smelled
salmon. She ran toward the smell to get the
food. A nice fisherman shared his salmon
with Nikki.
Jack is still on the train. The train crossed the rusty old
bridge. It was creaking really loud.
You could hear the river water rushing and roaring against the rocks like a lion running into the
woods.
The train continued going fast like lighting, trying to get to the next
location. The little boy looked out the window
and saw a bear standing up and roaring.
All at once, the bear met Nikki. She shared the salmon with the bear
and became his friend. They decided to run off into the woods
and play.
Now the train finally gets to its location, so Jack gets off and starts to look for
Nikki again. The little boy asked people if they have seen his Arctic Fox, but he had no luck.
Jack asked one more person, and he said he saw her.
The little boy looked around the area and found Nikki playing with
the bear in the snow. They are having a good time.
Jack runs up to Nikki and gives her a big hug. Then he walked Nikki back to
the train station and they go back home.
Zack is a senior at the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. Zack is enrolled in the Machine Tool
program. Zack is from the Wilmington Area School District.
