Does the provider read to the children?

Yes! I have a bookshelf stuffed full of children’s books, and I enjoy picking out fun books together to read.

How is discipline handled?

I do use time outs (1 minute for each year old of the child two year olds and above). However, I prefer to use “Time in” where the child who is having a difficult time stays with me as my special helper. I can keep the child occupied, and maintain close supervision, to help resolve discipline issues.
