Read on to see what the party looks like at 1 Mallard for the first 31 days of March… March 7th is the “Officially Official Opening Day of Omelet Season here at the Surf Club. Sunday Morning, Flip and Flop are back in action starting at 10 am on Sunday March 7th. Yes they will be hamming it up right before your very eyes producing Eggstrodinary egg dishes and giving out strategic advice about everything that matters to no one. So plan on attending this ter- rific festival of tasty breakfast fare and world class comradery. Dress, Cost, and Times are all the same as they were last year, reservations are appreciated, but drop ins are welcome as well. Give us a call or just head on down as we kick off the 13th season of Oceanside Omelets here at the Surf Club. And on Sunday Evenings... The Surf Club will once again be offering SNCT (Sunday Night Chef’s Table) & A La Carte Dining in the Sea N B Seen Lounge Chef O and the Culinary Team once again offering the ever-popular Chef’s Table (formerly known as the Starter Bar) along with a menu of Seasonal and Club Fa-

vorites. Of course, it will also have Chef O’s world famous Gluten and Feather

Free Fried Chicken and another entrée, along with a variety of sides. In addition,

we will be offering an A la Carte menu which will feature Club Favorites and

fresh local seafood.

This gastronomical event takes place from 5:30-8 p.m. every Sunday except the

Sunday evening before Memorial and Labor Day. Reservations are appreciated,

but not required, with the dress being casual and the atmosphere friendly and

festive with Ms. Susan Honey offering the audio entertainment for the evening.

If you have developed a powerful hankering for a little coastal cuisine in the

comfortable confines of the Sea N B Seen Lounge, then round up your convives

and head on down where everything is as it was, at least, from what we can rec-

ollect, and the only thing we overlook is ... the parking lot…no fooling!

Connoisseur Club 2021This “Club within a Club” offers a variety of perks

and benefits for those members who are interested

in Cooking, Mixology, and Wine.

Here’s a list of benefits that you receive when

you sign up for this Club:

• Preferred Pricing on admission for you and your spouse/date to wine

tastings, cooking classes, mixology lessons, wine dinners, food tastings,

and spirit tastings

• Ability to order wine at the Club’s cost plus 15%

• 25% discount from the Club’s Wine List

• Ability to rent a climatized wine locker to store up to 24 bottles of wine

with an engraved nameplate

• $2 corkage on wines ordered through the Club served in the Big House,

$4 corkage in the Pavilion and $6 corkage on wines you bring into the

Club****

• Access to Connoisseur’s Club only events

If you’re interested in all of the above, give us a call and we will sign you up to

take advantage of these terrific amenities of your Surf Club Membership. Annual

Tuition is $110 without a wine locker and $225 with a Wine Locker.

Different Styles of the Same

Grape Wine Tasting

Thursday March 11th 6 pm till….

Ryann Harris of Empire, Kevin Midkiff of Grapevine and

Mike Summerlin of Port City will be showcasing the extreme variation of many of the popular

grape varietal based upon winemaking style, terroir,

barreling and aging and many other quirky factors that go into

this noble profession. And speaking of multiple

personalities, Chef O will be putting out a vacillating array of notable foods that will pair well with the wines no matter what

incarnation they may take.

Price for this “Blending Event” of quaffing and gluttony is a mere $10 for CC members and $15 for all other Members and Guests.

PARKINGAll Members and their guests are entitled to use the club’s parking facilities while

attending activities at the Club including accessing the adjacent beach area.

All members are required to have the proper parking credentials affixed to the

lower front windshield of their cars, and guest vehicles must display a Guest

Pass. Cars that do not have the proper credentials are subject to being ticketed

and fined and/or towed at their owner’s expense.

Members are limited to 6 decals per membership and will be charged for each

decal per the following schedule:

1st decal & 2nd decal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $10 each

3rd decal & 4th decal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $30 each

5th decal & 6th decal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $40 each

Only cars owned by Members or persons entitled to use the Club unaccompanied

under that membership are allowed decals. Violation of this will result in the decal

being confiscated and the Board of Governors will be notified and may take addi-

tional action.

Daily Parking and Weekend Parking passes will be available for the following prices.

Complimentary (2) hour dining passes will be available for guests dining with

Members at the Club or at the Pavilion. *Due to Holiday parking demands, there

will be NO complimentary parking passes given out on Holiday Weekends and

around the 4th of July.

Overnight Parking is prohibited without written authorization from the Club

St. Paddy,s Day Buffet and Bingo Fest

Wednesday March 17th • 5:30 to 7:30 pmWell this one is designed with all those Mothers, Fathers and Grandparents out there who need a break because all their wee little ones have a bad dose of cabin fever. So read on if you’re interested in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the Beach.

As is typical, we will call four games of Bingo starting at 5:45, and call another 4 games starting at 7:15 up in the Sea N B Seen Lounge. Dinner will be served in the Dining Rooms, tables will be well spaced and the food will be served Family Style and consist of the following:

Emerald Isle Salad with assorted dressings Four Leaf Clover Jell-O Bites

Surf Club Bread Basket and Creamery ButterIrish Buttered Baby Carrots with Braised Leeks

Champ Mashed Potatoes Braised Corn Beef and Cabbage

And of course we will have the little Leprechauns for all the ankle biters to include Irish Noodles with Dublin Cheese Sauce

Price for this Delightful Irish evening will be $14.95 for the Big Kids and $7.95 for the little ones 12 and under.

So if you’re looking for a little diversion and some really great Irish fare, mark your calendar and plan on attending this family friendly event. Dress is casual, wearing green is optional and Irish luck will be available for purchase if you need some.

ing temperatures. Lauren Dixon of

Winebow, Kacey Patella of Windham

will be showcasing some phenom-

enal wines that will help usher in the

springtime quaffing season. Chef O

and the rest of the culinarians will be

creating a plethora of tasty springtime

cuisine that will put a “spring” in your

step and a fluttering in your heart!

and 88 Bits (11 Bucks) for all other

members and guests.
