THE LAST MAN ON EARTH

MAIN CHARACTERS:

There was only one character and he was the main one. It was a man who was he thought he was the last man on earth and recording himself say he will commit suicide because he can go through illness or old age alone.

CATALYST:

The catalyst was the chemical he took; This is because it caused everything to happen. This decided his fate and made him the second last person to die because he wasn’t going to reunite with him friend if he answered the call or not.

AUDIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

We expected the man to die after having the deadly chemical but instead he drinks the chemical and suddenly we see his phone ringing. He thought there was no other human being left on the planet. Surely when his phone rang he regretted taking the chemical?

CIRCULAR NARRATIVE:

He started alone walking in the street and died alone in the pub. This made the audience feel sorry for him because we didn’t think he’d just die alone. We thought he may find someone. The circular narrative is him being alone at the start and end of the short film.
