2.
- The story goes
- that some time ago,
- a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting
- a roll ofgold gift
- wrapping paper.
3.
- Money was tight
- and he became infuriated
- when the child tried to
- decorate a gift box to put
- under the Christmas tree.
4.
- Nevertheless,
- the little girl brought
- the gift to her father
- the next morning
- and said,
- "This is for you, Daddy.
5.
- He was embarrassed
- by his earlier overreaction,
- but much to his amazement his anger flared again
- when he found
- the box was empty.
6.
- He shouted at her,
- "Don't you know that
- when you give someone
- a present, there's supposed
- to be something inside
- the Box?"
7.
- The little girl looked up at
- the father with a heartbroken tears in her eyes and said,
- "Oh, Daddy, it is not empty.
- I blew kisses into the box.
- All for you, Daddy."
8.
- The father was crushed
- when he heard her response.
- He put his arms around
- his little girl, and embraced
- her with a hug and he pleaded
- for her forgiveness.
9.
- It is told that the man
- kept that gold box by his bed
- for years and whenever
- he was discouraged,
- he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of her child who had put it there.
10.
- In a very real sense,
- each of us as humans
- have been given the gift of Gods GRACE in a gold
- container filled with
- His unconditional love
11.
- overflowing with
- kisses from our children,
- family, loved ones and friends
- to replenish the beauty of
- adoration & love in our hearts.
- Thus there is no more precious
- possession anyone could hold.
