Easy IntegrationEnabler Embedded is designed for easy integration with modern POS systems. Leveraging key API functions means only 2-3 person weeks of development effort is needed. The pump control user interface is pre-built (ActiveX and .NET only) therefore no GUI development by the integrator is required.

With Enabler Embedded you are working with a stable, internationally proven forecourt controller to produce a highly effective, deployable solution.

Site Architecture

Multi-Client InterfaceYour POS system integrates with the Enabler at the client level. Our API reduces the complexity of integration, by providing a ready built User Interface, which the developer can place on their own application form and immediately have working forecourt control. Real time access is gained to forecourt status, deliveries and other events. (XML schema are provided for custom client environment development).

Enabler’s client-server architecture allows more than one application (e.g. Multi POS) to share the same forecourt, without the usual design complexities of multiple POS terminals.

Enabler Embedded supports the same Version 4 Client integration as Enabler PCI/PCIe. This allows you to develop a single Enabler client application that can be deployed with Enabler Embedded or Enabler PCI/PCIe.

(Note: Unlike Enabler PCI/PCIe, direct database access is not available. A separate Data API for Embedded provides specific access to the database elements.)

Web-based Setup & MaintenanceEnabler Embedded includes a web server allowing full configuration, diagnosis and maintenance to be performed globally using any device with a suitable web browser, including tablets. No external configuration software or tools are required and a configuration file can be downloaded to any number of sites.

Depending on the site connectivity, the web interface allows remote access to Enabler Embedded for support and maintenance, lowering overall support costs.

The web interface has been tested to be compatible with all major browsers.

Remote Site Monitor One of the powerful features of the Enabler Embedded web enabled environment is the Site Monitor which allows actual forecourt activity to be monitored from any location in real time. Site owners, managers or supervisors can watch current activity on every pump from any web enabled device such as a PC, iPad or other tablet.

As well as the real time view of forecourt activity, for every filling position, a list of recent Events and Deliveries can be seen. This allows quick remote review of any pump’s recent history in case of reported issues.

Integrated ReportingEnabler Embedded Web support includes built in reporting on fuel transactions and pump/system events, accessible locally or remotely. Powerful filters are provided to allow the user to drill down for specific details, whether for sales reporting or for remote support diagnostics.

Reports are based on Enabler Embedded’s real time activity and as soon as it happens, relevant information is accessible to any authorised user - whenever and wherever it is required.

Modern SecurityEnabler Embedded has been carefully designed to maximise security. It has a number of specific features to enhance security by controlling access to the system as well as being designed with a secure, certificated “image” based software environment.

To prevent unauthorized access to your site configuration and transaction data, the web server prompts users for their identity and password before granting access.

Access profiles can be configured with many options to enable or disable access to system functions and management data for specific users, regardless of their location. Every user session is subject to automatic log off if there is no activity within a certain time.

The database is “locked down” and access is only via a controlled Data API or by the system reports. Terminal access is also strictly controlled.

The Enabler Embedded integrated Web Server supports SSL encryption and the system software is also controlled by a web based activation process which ensures the software is correctly licensed.

At a physical level, there is provision to security seal any PDM and the processor and SSD memory modules for security, Fiscal Authority or Weights and Measures Authority requirements.

International SupportSupport for local languages has always been a hallmark of ITL products and this support continues in Enabler Embedded as it is fully Unicode aware and the configuration web pages supports multiple languages.

Region settings allow the correct automatic selection of currency symbols and number formats.

Built in language translations exist for English, Spanish and Chinese (Simplified). Partial language implementations for French, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, Russian and Slovenian.

Of course, Enabler Embedded also supports a wide range of forecourt devices from national, regional and global suppliers.
