Giles Blundell - Partner and Co-Founder
Before founding The GCC Partners Giles worked for Makaseb Islamic Financial Services as Head of Institutional sales in Dubai. Prior to this Giles was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns in London in the Risk Arbitrage department. He spent 10 years at Bear Stearns helping build the Institutional and hedge fund sales business. Before this he spent three years at HSBC Investment Bank in their equity derivatives department. He is a graduate of City University Business School with a Bsc in Insurance and Investment.
Charles Francis - Partner and Co-Founder
Charles has worked in the investment banking industry for 12 years in London and the UAE. He was hired by Libertas Capital (Dubai) to set up their MENA trading platform. Before this he was a senior trader in Credit Suisse’s pan-European Equtities trading team where he traded on behalf of clients as well as managing a proprietary trading book. He has intimate knowledge of a variety of sectors including Mid Caps, Risk Arbitrage, Energy, Oil, Utilities as well as American Depository Receipts. He also holds the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) from the Securities & Investments Institute.
Bernadine Rishmi - Senior Consultant
Bernadine is a Senior Consultant at the GCC Partners and contributes over 10 years of experience in healthcare as well as Recruitment & Talent Management. With a Medical degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in HR, she offers knowledge of both fields. She started her career working with a reputed Charitable trust Hospital in India as the Head of Department for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and moved into HR where she manages recruitment planning and man power needs to the highest standards for the Health care and its service providers.
