What is TV Ears?In short, TV Ears is a life changer. We manufacture TVlistening solution products that have helped more than onemillion people hear the television more clearly. The ideacame about after I tried to find something for my dad thatwould help him hear the TV. Nothing helped, so I createdTV Ears in 1998.

How does TV Ears work?A small transmitter is plugged into the audio out portslocated on the back of the television set, satellite box, DVDplayer or cable box. The audio of the television is wirelesslytransmitted to the headset. The user can then adjust thevolume and tone dials on the device to their preference.The television volume can be set to any level or turned offwithout affecting the function of the TV Ears system. Royal National Institute for the Deaf in the UK says that 55%of people over 60 suffer from hearing loss. That’s a 6 millionperson market! One of the first symptoms of hearing loss isthe ability to hear the TV. The U-Sing project has been a very successful collaboration between Mindscape and UniversalMusic. Universal bring a world class music catalogueand some of today’s biggest stars, whilst Mindscapebrings experience and expertise in design, development and games publishing. Since early in2009 both companies have put their full commitmentbehind the game to ensure that the brand is successfully launched across Europe.

Having successfully established the U-Sing brand in2009 we are now working with Universal Music againto release ‘Girls Night’ the next exciting episode in the U-Sing story. The collaboration has now developed further to include joint PR and marketing initiatives.

What does it bring to the U-Sing franchise?

This is the first 'special edition' in the U-Sing franchise,with more to follow. We know that there is a big female audience for Karaoke titles, so having a 100%dedicated version in Girls Night really addresses thatfemale audience directly.

Can you give us details of the track listing (or asmall sample of this)?

new Halo launch, and the upcomingAutumn release of Bungie's fifth (andfinal) title in the series could well be thebiggest yet.

Designed as a prequel to the classic 2001Xbox original, the game is set on an Earth-like colonyknown as Reach in the year 2552, just prior to the eventsof Halo: Combat Evolved. With almost the whole ofhumanity's interstellar colonies having been wiped outby the Covenant forces, the pressure is on the UNSC'sspecial operations supersoldiers to fight for humanity'svery existence. In the game's single player campaign,players will assume control of an unnamed new additionto Noble Team, known only by his call sign, Noble 6.Accompanied by team leader, Carter-259, his second-in-command, Kat-320, and other weapon specialists, theelite unit will form the heart of the game's epic storyline.

Said to be more free-flowing than recent Halos, therewill be less emphasis on funnelling players from onegigantic set piece to the next, and much more of thatsense of wonder that the original specialised in all thoseyears ago.
