GRACE BADGERGrace was raised on the Jersey Shore and graduated from Grove City College in western Pennsylvania where she got a degree in biology and minored in computer science. To further her interest in biological studies, she performed behavioral research on the interactions between parasitic and host ant species. Using her tech background, she built apps to aid first-responders in locating personnel in emergency situations. While at college, she participated in intramural sports such as tennis, spike ball, racquetball, and badminton. In her junior year, Grace served as class president and organized a karaoke night for her class. Grace loves reading, sports, and spending time at the beach. She is excited to work at Pinkston this year.

CAMERON BEALSCameron grew up in Elkin, North Carolina, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Public Policy with minors in Religious Studies and Entrepreneurship. While at the university, Cameron was a barista, an intern at a professional and faith devel-

opment program, and worked with the North Carolina Study Center in Chapel Hill. She spent a semester in Wash-ington, D.C. studying foreign and domestic policy while serving as the advocacy intern for International Justice Mission. Cameron spent her free time road tripping with friends, hiking, and enjoying good coffee and books. She will be serving this year at Pinkston, a strategic communi-cations firm, and looks forward to leading with the youth at Falls Church.

BENNETT CROWBennett is from Winchester, Virginia, and graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Public Policy and Foreign Affairs. At UVA, he was on the Servant Leadership Team of Cru and was an editor for a Christian thought journal. During his summers, he worked as a counselor at Summer’s Best Two Weeks (Go Romans!), went to North Africa for a summer mission, and interned at a UVA political history center. Despite growing up in Northern Virginia, Bennett is originally from Atlanta and loves all things Atlanta sports. During his free time, you

The Falls Church Fellows program is a nine-month, spiritual formation and leadership program in its 28th year at our church. It focuses on intentional vocational growth, practical discipleship experiences, service, and family liv-ing, all in the context of our community of believers. Fellows are recent college graduates who want to establish healthy Christian habits of heart and mind, and launch into seamless lives of faith for the sake of others and the glory of God. Throughout this year, Fellows join in the life and community of our church. They live with host families, are mentored by parishioners, and disciple small groups of students in our youth ministry. While working three days each week in their professional field, Fellows also explore God’s calling in their lives through professional seminars, Bible study, seminary courses, and vocational counseling. Fellows are challenged to start well in this new stage of life. Join us! There are lots of ways to be involved including being a host family, an employer and mentor, a seminar leader, and more. can find him watching any sort of game, match, or tourna-ment, playing disc golf, or watching movies with friends. Bennett will work in Senator Inhofe’s office.

LUKE GALYENLuke grew up in Granada, Spain, and he still desperately misses the “fútbol” culture of home. He graduated from Messiah University with a double major in Politics and In-ternational Relations/Economics. While at Messiah, he had the privilege of serving as a student senator and as Lead Director of Student Ministries. He also studied abroad at Oxford University and held two research positions while in school. He is known to love reading and having conversa-tions with friends over meals. This year he will be working as an intern with the Center for Public Justice.

TAYLOR HOCKENBERRYTaylor grew up north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her parents and younger sister. She has spent the last four years in Chapel Hill, NC, and graduated from UNC with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While at Carolina, Taylor dove for the UNC Swimming and Diving team and was a team captain this past year. She was also heavily involved in Athletes in Action, spent her summers work-ing at a Christian Sports Camp called Summer’s Best Two Weeks, and was involved in cancer research throughout her time in college. In her free time, Taylor loves being outside and in nature, running, hiking, reading, and chat-ting with friends. During her time as a fellow, Taylor will be working for Food for the Hungry in their Education and Health Fellowship.

SYDNEY HUSSSydney is from Charleston, South Carolina, and graduat-ed from Clemson University with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Social Sciences. While in college, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society, actively participated at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, and helped to establish Coalition for Chris-tian Outreach (CCO) on Clemson’s campus. During the summer, Sydney worked at Camp Saint Christopher on Seabrook Island, SC, where she shared the Gospel with kids from kindergarten through twelfth grade. She loves iced americanos, fresh flowers, reading, and sailing. Syd-

ney will work with the Discipleship and Outreach Depart-ment at The Falls Church Anglican.

IAN LAWSONIan grew up going back and forth between the US, Uganda, and France before settling in the DC area in middle school. He graduated from Grove City College in May 2021 with a degree in International Business with concentrations in Marketing and Spanish. During his time at Grove, he was part of the Men’s Rugby Club and was an active member of his fraternity, Nu Lambda Phi. He has previously interned at the Religious Freedom Center at the Newseum, Woods and Poole Economics, and Focus on the Family. In his free time, Ian enjoys climbing 14ers in Colorado, following any Tampa Bay sports team, and eating Raising Canes Chicken. Ian will work at Stand Together.

CAMILLE MESSERCamille Messer is originally from the small town of Grove City, Pennsylvania, where she grew up attending Grace Anglican Church with her parents and two younger siblings. She attended Covenant College as a Maclellan Scholar where she studied Economics with a particular interest in Community Development. While at Covenant, she served as the Student Body Vice-President, a Resident Assistant, as a member of the Orientation Team, and as the music coordinator for the Campus Activities Board. Additionally, Camille interned for three years at Canaan Group & Associates, a fundraising consulting firm that is based in Lookout Mountain, Georgia and completed a summer internship in the US House of Representatives. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading a good novel, and writing letters to friends. Camille looks forward to serving in the Government Relations department of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities this year.

RACHEL O’HARERachel is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduated from Appalachian State University where she majored in Public Relations and Advertising and minored in Spanish and Apparel Design. During her time in Boone, North Carolina, Rachel served in Young Life at Cranberry Middle School, owned an Etsy shop, conducted undergraduate re-

search in knitwear design, and learned how to snowboard for PE class. Rachel loves the outdoors, reading, baking, creating art, and running. This year, she will be working at NT Concepts Inc.

MICAH ROBERTSONMicah is from Ferndale, Washington, and graduated from Biola University with a degree in Political Science. During his time in college, Micah served as Chaplain with the Biola Chorale along with being a Resident Advisor with Housing and Residence Life. He has previously interned with the Religious Freedom Institute along with volun-teering for various political campaigns. Micah enjoys reading, visiting museums, and performing in musicals.

LEAH STEPHENSONLeah grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Psychology and minors in German and Business. During her time at Auburn, she worked as Head Student Recruiter for the Auburn College of Liberal Arts. In that role, she enjoyed engaging with students and parents from across the coun-try, while also sharing her love of Auburn. Leah spent two of her summers in Orlando, Florida working both for Walt Disney World and CRU. One of Leah’s favorite involve-ments has been serving in the youth and student ministry of her church, Grace Auburn. In her free time, Leah enjoys listening to a good podcast, reading, or spending time with her friends at the local coffee shop. This year Leah will work in U.S. Representative Aderholt’s office.

JAMES WEBBJames grew up in Jackson, Michigan and moved to Grand Rapids to study psychology and minor in religion at Calvin University. While at Calvin, he was involved in campus ministry through a Barnabas program where he led Bible studies and co-led dorm worship, and was able to witness the inner life of church ministry through an internship with LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church. He also served as a research assistant intern at Calvin’s Center for Social Research. James enjoys reading, writing, learning how to cook new foods, playing board games, and talking with people about whatever the conversation leads to. He is excited to be working with the C.S. Lewis Institute in the near future.

JARED ZIMMERMANJared grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his par-ents, older sister, and two younger brothers. He attended Grove City college where he studied mechanical engineer-ing. He served as a Young Life Capernaum leader and as chaplain for his housing group Sigma Phi Omicron. In his free time, he enjoys watching Manchester United games, playing soccer, snowboarding, and hiking. During the summer you can find him with grease up to his elbows, working on the aging cars in the driveway.
